Example letter

Dear Ms. Carter,

I'm applying for the Project Coordinator role at Bluepeak Health. I've spent the last two years coordinating clinic openings for a regional urgent care group, and your plan to open six new sites next year is exactly the kind of work I do best.

At Northline Urgent Care I keep the schedule for openings from lease signing to first patient. I run weekly calls with contractors, IT and our equipment vendors, track more than 200 tasks in Asana, and send a one-page status update to our directors every Friday. Our last three clinics opened on their target dates, and one opened a week early after I moved the network install ahead of the final inspection.

I'm also the person teams come to when something slips. When a supplier delayed our X-ray equipment by a month, I found a short-term lease, reworked the training schedule and kept the opening date without going over budget.

Your posting asks for someone comfortable with budgets and vendor contracts. I manage a $40,000 opening budget per site and review vendor quotes with our finance lead before anything is signed.

I'd welcome the chance to talk about how I can help Bluepeak open its new sites on time. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely, Jordan Ellis

Anatomy of a Cover Letter That Gets Read

Here is the example letter from the top of the page, part by part. The generator writes every letter to this shape.

  1. A greeting by name

Use the hiring manager's name when the posting or the company site gives it. "Dear Hiring Manager" is fine when it doesn't.

  2. An opening that names the job

Say which role you want, then the one reason you fit it, tied to something in the posting.

  3. Proof with numbers

Pick the experience that matches the job's main duty and show it with counts, tools and results.

  4. A problem you solved

One short story shows how you work better than a list of traits does.

  5. The posting's requirement, answered

Quote a requirement from the posting and show you've done it. This is where a tailored letter beats a template.

  6. A close that asks for the talk

Restate what you'd bring to this employer and thank them. Keep it to two sentences.

  7. A plain sign-off

"Sincerely" and your name. Put your phone and email in the header or the email itself.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this cover letter generator free?

Yes. Sign in with Google and you can write 5 cover letters a day for free, with no card needed. After that, each letter costs 1 credit from a one-time credit pack.

How does the AI cover letter generator work?

It reads the job description, picks out the skills and requirements the employer cares about, and matches them to experience in your resume. The result is a letter written for that role instead of a generic template.

Can I make a cover letter from my resume?

Yes. Paste your resume text and the generator uses your real experience. It's told never to invent jobs, degrees, certifications or numbers you don't have. Read more on turning your resume into a cover letter.

How long will my cover letter be?

About 250 to 400 words in four or five short paragraphs, which fits on one page. See how long a cover letter should be for the details, with a word counter.

Can I edit the cover letter after it's written?

Yes. Press Edit to change the letter right on the page, then copy it, download it as a Word file or print it and save it as a PDF.

Will recruiters know it was written by AI?

The letter is built from your own resume and the actual job posting, so it reads as specific, not generic. Read it through and add a detail or two in your own words before you send it.

Do you keep my resume?

No. Your resume and the job description are used to write the letter and aren't saved. The letter stays in your browser until you copy or download it.
